    I guess it’s hard to see why these books were banned. But having read a bunch on yesterday’s list, if I try to imagine myself when these books came out, I would have many of the same objections that people are leveling at books today.

    I may agree with the objection, but wouldn’t stop someone else from reading it. There’s a difference to me.
